Information declaration obligation / Privacy policy

2018/05/03

The protection of your personal data is of the utmost concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (DSGVO, TKG 2003). In this we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Contacting us

If you contact us by website contact form, by telephone, mobile phone or by e-mail, the information you provide will be stored for 12 months in order to process your request and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

Cookies

Our website does not automatically set so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your mobile device via the browser. They are not causing any damage.

If the automatically recognized language (German or English) is not correct and you click on one of the language buttons in the upper left corner to change the language, the website will create a cookie which is valid for 1 year for user-friendliness reasons, so that the correct language is already set the next time you visit the website. If you do not wish this, you can set your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases. In this case, however, the language must be corrected each time the website is accessed.

Apps

We do not collect personal information from app users of our free apps. All our free apps that request camera or microphone rights process all data only locally on the mobile phone - no images, video or audio data are ever sent to us. No data about the use of our free apps will be sent to us.

Share Buttons

We use Shariff for sharing buttons to protect our visitors' privacy from the exaggerated curiosity of social networks like Facebook, Google+ and Twitter. This type of sharing button prevents social networks from registering and tracking visits to our website as soon as they are displayed. Only when you click on the corresponding share button are only those data forwarded which are absolutely necessary for the corresponding purpose of sharing (i.e. the path to the current page, title, preview image and short content - i.e. no personal data). Personal data may be supplemented by the user's local web browser if a cookie has already been set there by the social network. However, this already happens on the server of the social network operator - this data does not run via our website.

Website Analysis

Our website does not use an external web analytics service. Your IP address is recorded locally on the web server and temporarily stored for one week to combat and report denial of service and other attacks and then pseudonymized by deleting the last 8 bits. This means that only a rough localization is possible.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 subparagraph 3 TKG and article 6 subparagraph 1a (consent) or 1f (legitimate interest) of the DSGVO.

Our concern in the sense of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website as well as the defense against denial-of-service and other attacks on our web server. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymised.

The pseudonymized user data is stored for a period of 2 years.

Your rights

You fundamentally have rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
